Built by Hikers, for Hikers

## Our Story

I'm Hugo, hiking enthusiast and the person behind Dolomites Guide. Based in Annecy in the French Alps, I've spent multiple seasons trekking across the Dolomites and previously built **TMB Guide** for the Tour du Mont Blanc. After years of planning trips in the Dolomites, I noticed it felt unnecessarily complicated. Finding the right itinerary, booking mountain huts, understanding trail conditions, figuring out transfers - too many hikers spend more time researching than actually enjoying the mountains. So I decided to build the resource I wished I had.

Behind the scenes, we partner with a family-run adventure travel agency founded in 1983 and based in the French Alps. With over 40 years of experience, a team of 20+ travel specialists, and 40+ professional mountain guides holding state-certified diplomas, they bring deep logistical expertise to every trip. When you're ready to turn your plans into reality, we handle the details - hut reservations, luggage transfers, detailed roadbooks - so you can focus entirely on the trail.
