Passo Campolongo (Campolongo Pass), at 1,875 m (6,152 ft), links Corvara, in Val Badia, to Arabba. You can reach it without a car, and short trails link it to both villages and to the Corvara lifts.

## Where is Campolongo Pass and what can you see from it?
The pass opens between the Sella massif and the Fanes group, on the border between South Tyrol and the province of Belluno, where Arabba belongs to the Livinallongo (Buchenstein) valley. On trail 3, the last stretch up to the pass looks onto the Sella group.

## How do you get to Passo Campolongo?
**By bus**, Südtirol Mobil line 472 (Corvara - Passo Campolongo - Arabba - Passo Pordoi) serves the pass every hour.

- In 2026 it ran every day from 7 June to 11 October.
- Beyond Arabba it continues to [Passo Pordoi](/dolomites-passes/passo-pordoi/) and [Passo Sella](/dolomites-passes/passo-sella/). At Corvara, line 473 leaves for [Passo Gardena](/dolomites-passes/passo-gardena/).
- Timetables: [line 472, Südtirol Mobil](https://www.suedtirolmobil.info/fileadmin/pdf/2026/472_20260607.pdf).

**On foot from Arabba**, trail 638 climbs to the pass in 1 hour 30 minutes: 2 km (1.2 mi) with 275 m (902 ft) of ascent. **On the Corvara side**, trails 26 and then 26 A lead from the Planac car park to the pass in 1 hour, for 4 km (2.5 mi) and 150 m (492 ft) of ascent.

**By car**, the pass lies on the SS 244. Road conditions in South Tyrol are posted on the [Province of Bolzano traffic information centre](https://verkehr.provinz.bz.it). Two dates to know in 2027: the Sellaronda Bike Day on Saturday 5 June and the [Maratona dles Dolomites](https://www.maratona.it/en/) on 4 July. Check traffic conditions with the organisers before heading up on those days.

## What can you do from Passo Campolongo?
**From the Boè gondola down to the pass**: from Corvara, the gondola takes you to its top station; trail 638 then leads down to the pass in 50 minutes, for 2 km (1.2 mi) and 300 m (984 ft) of descent. In 2026 the gondola ran from 13 June to 4 October.

**The Pralongià alpine meadows hike** follows wide tracks with the Marmolada in sight, then trail 3 runs straight to the pass.

For the bigger days around the Sella, such as Piz Boè, see our [hiking guide to Alta Badia and Corvara](/blog/alta-badia-corvara-hiking-guide/).
