## Where is Passo Rolle and what can you see from it?
The pass, at 1,984 m (6,509 ft), opens between the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai range, below the Cimon della Pala and the Cima Vezzana. The Cimon della Pala, at 3,184 m (10,446 ft), stands opposite the pass like a pyramid of rock.

**From San Martino di Castrozza**, the pass is only 9 km (5.6 mi) away.

## What can you do from Passo Rolle?
**Go up to the Baita Segantini**, at the foot of the Cimon della Pala, by the road that starts at the pass. It is closed to private cars, day and night, from 15 June to 15 September in 2026; taxis and chauffeur-driven cars can still use it during the closure. Check exemptions and the 2027 dates with the [Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park](https://parcopan.org/vivere-il-parco/muoversi-nel-parco/) (in Italian), which sets the rule.
