## Description

Rifugio Firenze - also known as **Regensburger Hütte** - sits at 2,037 m (6,683 ft) on a broad grassy plateau in the **Puez-Odle Natural Park** above **Selva di Val Gardena**. The refuge accommodates 60 guests and is open from June through October. It occupies one of the most photogenic positions in the western Dolomites, directly beneath the jagged limestone needles of the **Odle (Geisler)** group.

The plateau around the hut offers gentle walking with wildflower meadows that contrast dramatically with the vertical rock towers above. Trails lead to **Forcella di Sieles** and deeper into the **Puez** high plateau, connecting with routes toward **Rifugio Puez** and the **Alta Via 2**. The area is also a starting point for the popular **Adolf Munkel Trail** traversing the base of the Odle spires.

The most common approach starts from the **Seceda** cable car station above Selva and follows a scenic ridge path, or from **Zanser Alm** in the **Villnöss (Funes)** valley. The hut serves both South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine and has a spacious sun terrace with direct views of the Odle skyline. Booking ahead is recommended throughout the summer season.
