The towers and the war museum. The first full hiking day starts at Falzarego Pass, climbing to Forcella Averau before dropping to the Cinque Torri - five striking rock towers surrounded by World War I trenches restored as an open-air museum. The descent returns to Pocol through flower-filled meadows below the Tofane.

Classic Alta Via 1 terrain.
