What can you see from Tre Croci Pass?

From the pass, the Ampezzo basin opens out on one side and the Sorapis rises on the other. Coming up from Cortina, you pass beneath the steep peaks of the Pomagagnon; on the way down to Misurina, the Sorapis stays in view, with the wild Marmarole range.

How do you get to Passo Tre Croci?

By bus, Dolomiti Bus line 51 (Cortina d’Ampezzo - Passo Tre Croci - Misurina) ran every day from 8 June to 9 September 2026, with one bus an hour from 8:00 to 18:00. Check the 2027 dates on the Dolomiti Bus summer timetables (in Italian) before counting on the line.

What can you do from Passo Tre Croci?

Hike up to Lake Sorapis on trail 215: allow 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes to Rifugio Vandelli. After a first flat stretch, the trail crosses metal ladders and an exposed ledge equipped with cables: it is meant for experienced hikers. Read our Lake Sorapis guide before setting out with children.

Via the Laudo, a variant goes over Forcella Malquoira (trails 213, 216, then 215) and takes 3 to 4 hours to the hut.
