Valleys Val Badia and Cortina d'Ampezzo, via Passo Falzarego

Passo Valparola, two kilometres from Passo Falzarego on the Val Badia side, is home to Forte Tre Sassi, now a Great War museum. You can reach it by bus or car, and trails start here for the Sas de Stria and the Lagazuoi.

TL;DR

Passo Valparola, at 2,168 m7,113 ft, links Val Badia and Passo Falzarego, 20 minutes away on foot past Lake Valparola. The Lagazuoi cable car starts from Falzarego, not here; at Valparola, Forte Tre Sassi houses a museum.

Passo Valparola (Valparola Pass), at 2,168 m7,113 ft, links Val Badia with its close neighbour, Passo Falzarego. Don’t mix the two up: the Lagazuoi cable car starts from Falzarego, not here.
