Capacity 25 Guests

Rifugio San Sebastiano stands at 1,605 m5,266 ft in the wooded valley of La Valle Agordina, positioned between the towering walls of the Civetta to the north and the jagged crest of Moiazza to the south. The refuge accommodates 25 guests and operates year-round, providing a tranquil base in one of the quieter corners of the Bellunese Dolomites.

The trails radiating from the hut access some of the most rugged terrain in the Agordino district. Routes climb northward to the Civetta group via Forcella della Gusela, while southward paths reach the dramatic spires of Moiazza and connect to the Alta Via 1 corridor. The surrounding forest is a mix of beech and spruce, with clearings that frame striking views of both massifs.

Access is via a forest road from La Valle Agordina in the Cordevole valley. The hut is known for generous home-cooked meals featuring local Agordino specialties. Its year-round operation and low-key atmosphere make it particularly appealing for off-season visitors, snowshoers, and anyone looking to escape the summer crowds.
